Parent feedback about DAHS

We had scheduled to do a coffee and conversation meeting on April 12th but we had to cancel it because of weather.  We are having trouble rescheduling it so I would like to propose that if you have concerns or questions about your student or the DAHS program I would be happy to talk to you during parent-teacher conferences from 3-5 pm at Kennedy High School in the gym on Thursday, 4/25.  I will use that time to meet with parents who have students on my caseload.  If you don't need to meet with me in person you can also email me.

Nobel Creativity Opportunities Tri 2

The Gifted and Talented department will take Nobel students to the History Theater on Thursday, February 22nd to see “A Crack in the Sky”.  This will be its world premiere and it features two local playwrights, Harrison David Rivers and Ahmed Ismail Yusuf. The play is described as, “ From Somalia to the U.S.A. 1984.  A young shepherd boy stands in front of his mother to tell her of the decision he has made in the night. He has had enough of the nomadic life, of herding goats and sheep, and is leaving to seek out a better life. With that, he sets off on an adventure that takes him on the road less traveled from Somalia to Minnesota.
